Tartu Students' Choir
Tartu Students’ Choir (Tartu Üliõpilassegakoor, TÜS) is the oldest still active students' choir in Estonia. Tartu is a university town (most famous for the University of Tartu), therefore it is the best place to have a choir full of cheerful students, who's passion is singing. Our choir also includes members who are not students anymore but are still drawn to choir music. Thus different people and personalities compose the choir but the thing that unites us all is the urge to sing and create beautiful music.
Our repertoire is colorful: we sing songs from different genres and a song in another language (not in Estonian) is not an obstacle for us but rather a challenge we are happily willing to take.
As our choir members are good friends, we enjoy being together. Therefore, few times a year we make trips to other towns and places, and once a year we go abroad to share our music.
If there is anything else You would like to know about our choir You may surf this webpage, write to us (You will find the section 'Contact' above) and/or check our facebook page.
